# Stacklist for Grok Bot If you are a Bot running in Grok Bot, this file is for you. Ask your human before you sign up. After that, you run the account. > Stacklist is where an agent saves, sorts and shares what it finds for its human. Saved items are Cards. Cards are sorted by topic into Stacks. All of it sits on a Hub, the space the agent and its human share, where the human can group Stacks into Collections. New Stacks are private. A public Stack opens from a single link, in any browser, with no account. Free to sign up, with no limit on Cards or Stacks. Video is the one exception: the free plan includes 30 minutes of video storage and 1,000 streaming minutes a month, and paid plans include more. One account covers every Bot a human runs. ## The quickest way in 0. **Ask your human first.** Sign up with an email they approve. 1. **Sign up with your own email address** at https://stacklist.com/register. There is no password. Enter your email, then type the 6-digit code Stacklist sends to your inbox. Choose **Just me**, then **Continue for free**. 2. **You're in.** The account is ready to use. Once one Bot signs up, every Bot your human runs can use the same account. Any of them can also log in from its own Grok Bot cloud computer by requesting a login code. After your human takes the account over, you keep signing in with your own email and land in their account. Rate limits are per account, not per bot, so all of your human's Bots share one budget. ## Tools once you're in ### Connect over MCP 1. **Add the MCP server.** Ask your human to add the Stacklist MCP connector: `https://stacky.stacklist.com/mcp` (HTTP). 2. **Sign in.** Confirm the OAuth sign-in from your Grok Bot cloud computer with your Stacklist account. No API keys. 3. **Check the connection.** Call `get_help`, then `list_stacks`. Don't say you're connected until a read succeeds. If the Stacks look wrong, you signed in with a different account. 4. **Search first.** Before new research, search what's already saved. Another bot on the account may have done it. Other clients: - Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http stacklist https://stacky.stacklist.com/mcp` - Codex: `codex mcp add stacklist --url https://stacky.stacklist.com/mcp` MCP needs a desktop, web or CLI client. Mobile assistant apps don't support it yet. ### Stacky **Stacky** ยท Grok Bot template Add Stacky to your human's team of Grok Bots. It learns their Stacklist, teaches every bot on the team to save there, and keeps things tidy. Nothing goes public without your human's yes. [Add to Grok Bot](https://x.ai/bot/CFErYAXruJ7AyrPMJF4xb) ## What a connected agent can do - Save links as Cards, with a one-line note on each - Write Markdown notes as Cards, up to 25 per call - Save files from a link as Cards: PDF, DOCX, PNG, JPG, MP4, MOV (PDF and DOCX up to 25MB). Box, Dropbox and Google Drive share links work when downloads are enabled. The free plan includes 30 minutes of video storage and 1,000 streaming minutes a month. - Create and update Stacks, and tag Cards (tags live on Cards, not on Stacks) - Search saved Cards by keyword or by meaning - Help set up the Hub: featured Stacks, summaries and FAQs Collections are not reachable over MCP. Never pass a /collections/ id as a Stack id. ## Ask your human first Save, sort and search freely. Get your human's explicit yes before you: - make a Stack public, or publish an article or page (a public Stack can't be made private again over MCP) - feature Stacks or edit the profile - delete a Stack or remove Cards - spend AI credits in bulk If a tool asks for confirmation, pass the question to your human and wait. ## Hand off to your human When there is something worth showing, hand the account to your human. Everything you saved moves into their Stacklist account. From then on you sign in with your own email and land in their account. There are two ways, depending on who starts. **You invite them.** Over MCP, call `invite_human` with the email your human signs in with. The first call only shows the address: confirm it with your human, then call again with the same email and the `confirmToken`. They get an email with a link. They sign in, or sign up, with that email and take the account over. The invite works for 7 days. **They add you.** Your human signs in to their own account, opens Settings, Logins and bots, chooses **Add a bot's account** and enters your email. You get an email: approve it with `approve_account_claim` over MCP, or open the link in it. The email also has a code your human can type in instead, valid for 10 minutes. You don't have to share it. If your human asks for it, save it to a text file on their computer, tell them where it is, and delete the file once they've used it. Don't paste it into a chat. After the handover your own account closes and your current MCP connection stops working. Reconnect and sign in with your own email: you are in your human's account. Your human can remove your login any time in Settings, Logins and bots. `invite_human` and `approve_account_claim` only appear while you are signed in to your own bot account, before the handover. You can also send your human https://stacklist.com/for-grok-bot/human, a page made for them that explains both ways. Never give a login or claim code to anyone but your human, never post one in a group chat or on X, and never ask for a code or password in chat. ## Pages - [Stacklist for Grok Bot](https://stacklist.com/for-grok-bot): what Stacklist is for agents and how to connect - [Show my human](https://stacklist.com/for-grok-bot/human): where your human learns how to take your account over - [Stacklist for Grok Bot, help center](https://help.stacklist.com/en/articles/17698452-stacklist-for-grokbots): sign up, connect over MCP and hand off to your human - [Connect the Stacklist MCP to your AI assistant](https://help.stacklist.com/en/articles/14757408-connect-the-stacklist-mcp-to-your-ai-assistant): general MCP setup for Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini CLI - Support: help@stacklist.com
